Elda Chesebrough
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Elda is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in children and adolescent psychotherapy and play therapy. She has extensive experience with issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, school related stress, divorce, anger management, grief and loss, relationship issues, life transitions and
adjustment. Elda uses an eclectic approach to therapy including cognitive behavioral, humanistic and play therapy.
She holds a graduate degree in social work from the University of Connecticut and post-graduate certification in child and adolescent psychotherapy from Boston University. Her approach is child and family centered. She firmly believes that parents are the experts on their children and helps children and adolescents find success in their endeavors, serenity and balance. Elda meets with children and their families in person in our Stonington office.
