Abbie Kuziel

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Abbie is a Marriage and Family Therapist who brings a warm, collaborative, and developmentally informed approach to her work with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and families. Before becoming a therapist, Abbie worked as a preschool teacher and parent educator, experiences that shaped her deep understanding of child development and her ability to connect meaningfully with clients of all ages. She is trained in Circle of Security, Triple P, and Parents as Teachers, and supports caregivers in building secure, responsive relationships that promote emotional growth across the lifespan.

Abbie has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and teens in both Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and outpatient settings, while also partnering closely with parents and caregivers as essential agents of change. She is skilled at adapting her therapeutic style to meet clients where they are developmentally, using play, creativity, and concrete tools with younger children, collaborative and strengths-based conversations with adolescents, and reflective, insight-oriented work with adults.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in narrative therapy, guided by the belief that when we change the way we talk about our experiences, we change the way we understand ourselves and our relationships. Abbie works collaboratively with individuals and families to externalize problems, identify strengths, and co-create new stories that foster resilience, connection, and hope.

Abbie values creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages feel seen, heard, and respected. Her goal is to support individuals and families in strengthening relationships, navigating challenges with greater confidence, and moving toward meaningful, lasting change together.
